The seven principles of excellent business ethics

This article was written for small businesses. It says that it is very important to manage a company with seven principles. If  you adjust your companies vision and integrate those values, it could make a difference between being successful or bankrupt.

What are the seven principles?

  1. Be trustful: it means that customers prefer to deal with people they trust. If you are making some agreements, stick to them.
  2. Be open minded: I think this is one of the most important things in the business world. You should be open to new ideas. Listen to other opinions and try to consider them. Two thinking heads are worth more than one.
  3. Meet obligation: try to gain the trust of your costumers especially when something went wrong. Do what you have to, to fix it.
  4. Keep the documents clear: it suggests that the company keeps all the documents clear, precise and professional.
  5. Involved in what happens in the community: it is important to show that your business is also concerned with the community and that it contributes to it.
  6. Always control accounting: it is important to control the business incomes and outcomes.
  7. Be respectful: I thing I don’t have to explain this one. It is obvious that respect and kindness are very important for everybody.

If you recognize the value of practicing admirable business ethics, success won’t be far off. (according to the text.)
